Women's activewear has a trap. On one side: $150 leggings with a logo tax, sold on the promise the brand makes you someone. On the other side: cheap activewear that pills after three washes, sold on price alone. Nothing in the middle that actually felt good against your skin and didn't cost a month of groceries.
So we made the middle.

Womene is designed in Sydney, for the way Australian women actually live.
That shapes every decision we make. Fabric weight for the climate. Fit for bodies that move through gym, pilates, school run, couch, coffee, commute — sometimes in a single day. Colours that read well in Australian light, not studio lighting. Sizes that reflect real Australian women, not a sample-size ideal.
We manufacture offshore, in partner mills we've audited and kept for years. The design, the decisions, the standard — those stay here.
Two fabrics, one standard
Our active pieces are a buttersoft nylon-elastic blend. Four-way stretch. Weighty hand feel. Shape-holding through the wash. The kind of fabric that used to sit behind a $150 price tag.
Our loungewear is 100% cotton. No synthetic blends, no plastic sheen, no static cling. Breathable in summer, warm in winter, softer every wash.
We split the fabrics because the jobs are different. Activewear needs stretch and recovery. Loungewear needs breathability and weight. Most brands pick one fabric and force it into both jobs. We didn't.
